FOOD FOOD FOOD: Diesel Cafe

Let it be known… I don’t drink coffee but sometimes I think is smells good. I don’t drink tea but will probably get around to it later in life. I’m not really a fan of packed cafes and I certainly don’t have any good reason to hang around in such places. The next paragraph will be a bit more optimistic. I promise.

Diesel shouldn’t be written off as a “coffee shop”. As it’s name insists, it is a cafe. Sure, it’s usually extremely busy, but the place is really spacious. No anxiety attacks. I really enjoy Diesel’s made to order Raspberry-Vanilla Italian Sodas. I enjoy them soo much that I am able to ignore the bustling cafe scene. Rich and flavorful without that heavy syrup taste. The perfect mix? Perhaps. It certainly does help that the staff is helpful and friendly. Good times.

If you are in need of a new space to work on your novel (on contemporary Scandinavian yarn art), OR just a place to sip on a tasty beverage, you’ve found it.

SIDE NOTE: I once heard someone claim that Diesel had a “hipster menu”. What does that even mean?! People use the word “hipster” way too loosely these days. Fact.
